Research Focus

Bubbles and bubble-aggregates or foams, commonly found in nature, play a vital role in various industrial applications. In foams, a thin liquid film separates two air phases, and the coalescence of bubbles occurs as this film drains out. The stability of these bubbles is crucial in industrial contexts. My research focuses on unraveling the impact of particles and salts on the drainage dynamics of the liquid film, ultimately influencing the stability of bubbles and their resistance against coalescence. This exploration contributes to a deeper understanding of the intricate mechanisms governing bubble stability in diverse environments.
