Research Focus

The bubble-solid interaction in a liquid medium is a fundamental problem to investigate. A liquid film is entrapped during the bubble-solid interaction. Understanding the physics associated with the drainage of the entrapped liquid film is very crucial for many industrial processes. The project aims to investigate the complex film drainage dynamics during bubble-solid interaction in different colloidal suspensions. The film drainage is captured by tracing the evolution of spatial-temporal thicknesses of the film using interferometry.
