Research Focus

i) The study of biomembranes is important to understand fundamental biological processes. My goal is to implement a novel way to synthesize phospholipid bilayers, considering that the current method is complex and difficult to multiplex.

ii) Lubricant oils can be in contact with water in the field of petroleum industries. I will take a deep look into the oil/water coalescence to unravel the mechanism related to de-emulsification, in order to provide a solution where water/oil emulsions in the generated system will be crucial to the performance of the lubricant.
